Patrick Dunphy of Cannon & Dunphy S.C. is responsible for many law-changing verdicts, some of which were featured in the May 2009 issue of the Wisconsin Law Journal.
InBittner v. American Honda Motor Co., Dunphy successfully litigated a products liability case for his client who sustained brain injuries after an ATV accident. The defendants submitted comparative risk evidence which the Supreme Court ruled was inadmissible.
In another case, Dunphy represented a young woman who eventually died of cervical cancer because of her HMO’s repeat failure to diagnose the condition. This medical malpractice verdict changed the standard of care for cytotechnologists nationwide.
These and other cases like it are why Dunphy chose the legal profession. His primary goal in every case he handles is to put the client first. When the client comes first, everything else falls into place.
