A Minnesota man died last Saturday in a boating accident on a Wisconsin lake.
According to reports, 42-year old man from Inver Grove Heights, Minn., died when he fell out of a small boat on Dilly Lake in Washburn County Saturday evening.
Emergency officials were called to the scene about 8 p.m. after he reportedly stood up on the boat, slipped and then fell overboard. In the process, the boat capsized and the other passenger also fell into the lake.
Life jackets were available, but neither occupant was wearing them at the time of the accident. They were picked up by a couple on a nearby pontoon boat. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
