Police are searching for the driver in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 58-year-old woman Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the accident happened at North 33rd Street and West Villard Avenue about 5:40 p.m. when the woman was attempting to cross Villard Avenue. Officials said she was hit by two additional cars after the initial accident because she was in the roadway. Those two drivers stopped, but police are still searching for the driver of the first vehicle.
Police do not have a car description, but are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or who has any information to come forward.
