A Fond du Lac teen was charged Wednesday in the deaths of three of her friends in a February crash.
According to the charges, 18-year-old Carly J. Ottery is facing three counts of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle in the February 4. accident. Nine girls who were all soccer players at Campbellsport High School crashed in the early morning hours in Ashford.
According to reports, the investigation showed Ottery was driving 100 mph and her vehicle went airborne before the crash.
Several of the passengers were not wearing safety belts at the time of the crash. If Ottery is convicted on the charges, she faces up to five years in prison along with five years of extended supervision for each of the three counts.
She is next scheduled to appear in court on June 19.
