Two New Franken teenagers were killed when their vehicle overturned in a creek this week.
According to officials, two 16-year-olds were killed when their car ran off the road in Scott about 3:30 p.m. Monday. The teenagers were apparently heading north on Highway 57 when they attempted a right-hand turn onto Church Road. The driver lost control of the car and ran into a creek.
It was raining at the time of the crash. The teens were rescued, but later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Officials said they did not believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
