A Mosinee woman was killed when she was hit by a car while biking, miles away from where her first husband was killed about 3 1/2 years ago.
According to news reports, the 44-year-old woman was struck about 11 a.m. Friday on Marathon County KK close to Rifle Road in Mosinee. The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Mosinee was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. She was released after posting the $1,000 bail.
The cyclist had been remarried in January and was helping raise their children. Her first husband was killed in September 2008 after crashing into a parked car on Highway KK, near Shepherd Street.
