Nine Wisconsin adults have been sickened in a national salmonella outbreak that began in February.
According to reports, four of the affected people are from Milwaukee County and five are from Waukesha County. The outbreak has affected 93 people in 19 states as well as the District of Columbia.
All eight residents who were sickened have since recovered and nationwide no deaths have been reported from the outbreak. The source of the outbreak is still unknown and officials are attempting to confirm where it is originating from. The CDC is continuing to investigate.
