Officials are asking the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to review construction traffic plans after a third accident on the Hoan Bridge shut down the bridge.
According to reports, Tuesday an almost 40-year-old man was killed while looking under the hood of his stalled car. He was thrown to his death from the bridge when another car ran into his.
Friday, a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car about 6:20 a.m. and Saturday one person was sent to a local hospital with neck pain after a crash about 7:30 a.m.
After each crash, the bridge had to be shut down and was later reopened. Officials sent out a safety reminder to local motorists to be alert while in construction zones.
