Two Injured As Car Crashes Into House

Two people were critically injured and two are homeless after a car crashed into a house early Sunday morning in Green Bay.

According to reports, emergency crews arrived at the house on North Locust Street just before 4 a.m. to find the 2012 Chrysler 300 nearly inside the one-story ranch and falling into the basement. The rear wheels were on top of the basement wall.

A tow truck was called to the scene to retrieve the vehicle so the two people trapped inside the car could be freed. Those two occupants had to be cut out of the vehicle before they could be taken to a local hospital.

The occupants of the house were sleeping at the other end of the house when the crash occurred. Neither of them were injured. The house was so badly damaged it had to be condemned.

The investigation is continuing into the cause of the crash.
